It is quietest on weekdays from 08:00 to 10:00. The busiest times are the last week of the month and Saturday mornings.
The technical inspection itself takes 20 to 30 minutes. Full registration with paperwork, insurance and sticker is usually done in 40 to 60 minutes — all in one visit.
To renew a registration:
- vehicle registration certificate
- owner's ID card or a printout of the chip-read ID
- old insurance policy, if you have it
Companies bring an extract from the APR (Serbian Business Registers Agency) and the company stamp. For a change of owner you also need a sales contract — we can draw it up here.
You don't. Since 2013 LA-AND AUTO has been authorized by the MUP (Ministry of Interior registration office) to issue registration stickers to individuals and companies, so the whole procedure is completed here — including the MUP formalities, payment of tax and fees, and validation of the vehicle registration certificate.
Yes, and interest-free:

We also accept cash.
The inspection price is set by regulation and depends on the vehicle type and category. The total registration cost also depends on engine displacement, power, vehicle age and the insurance policy you choose.
For the exact amount call +381 11 3564 190 — the details from the vehicle registration certificate are enough for a precise, no-obligation quote.
You get findings with an exact list of the items to fix. Once the vehicle is repaired, the re-inspection covers only those items — the procedure doesn't start from scratch.
We don't tell you where to get the vehicle repaired. If you ask for a recommendation, we'll give one, but the choice is yours.
We are authorized by the MUP to inspect:
- passenger cars
- trucks up to 5 t gross vehicle weight
- motorcycles, mopeds, scooters and tricycles
- light trailers up to 750 kg
You need a valid certificate for the gas system and tank. The tank has to be re-certified within the prescribed intervals, and without a valid certificate the vehicle cannot pass the inspection.
If you're not sure whether your certificate is still valid, call us before you come.
A warning triangle, reflective vest, first aid kit within its expiry date, a spare wheel or tyre repair kit, and a tow rope or tow bar.
From 1 November to 1 April winter equipment is mandatory — tyres with a tread depth of at least 4 mm on the drive wheels.
Then the vehicle may not be driven — driving an unregistered vehicle means a fine and the vehicle being taken off the road. The registration procedure is the same, but the vehicle has to be brought here in a way that doesn't break the rules.
Call us and we'll agree on the best solution for your situation.
